Instructions for use of the article Fixomull Stretch 15 cm x 20 m Fixomull Stretch is an adhesive dressing for the fixation of wound dressings. It consists of a particularly stretchy and soft polyester fleece coated with polyacrylate adhesive. The dressing is flexible and conforms well to contoured parts of the body. It provides secure fixation, prevents strangulation and circulation problems and is also suitable for sensitive skin as it has high air and water vapour permeability. The dressing was developed by the LEUKOPLAST-experts and is ideal for full-thickness fixation of wound dressings, ointment dressings, instruments, probes, catheters and measuring devices. It is easy to use, versatile and has good immediate and permanent adhesive strength. The entire range of the LEUKOPLAST and Fixomull product family has been specially developed for reliable and skin-friendly fixation. It is characterised by water vapour permeable materials and a perfect combination of skin-friendly adhesive and backing materials. Fixomull Stretch is suitable for the fixation of wound dressings and compresses on frequently moving body parts and joints. It can also be used to securely fix probes, catheters and measuring elements. The dressing can be cut to size and is conformable. The LEUKOPLAST-application is done in three steps: Cutting off the required amount, applying the dressing to the affected part of the body and smoothing it out completely.
