Directions for use of the article Corneregel EDO eye gel: - Corneregel EDO eye gel contains the active ingredient dexpanthenol and is used for the treatment of non-inflammatory corneal diseases such as corneal dystrophies, corneal degenerations, corneal erosions and corneal lesions in contact lens wearers. It also supports the healing process in corneal and conjunctival damage, chemical burns and burns. However, it is not suitable for the treatment of infectious corneal processes. - Corneregel EDO eye gel should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to dexpanthenol or other components of the medicinal product. Contact lenses should be removed before use and not reinserted until 15 minutes after dripping. - The dosage for all age groups is 1 drop 5 times daily, spread throughout the day and before bedtime. The medicine is dropped into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye. The treatment can be continued until there is a subjective improvement of the symptoms. - Possible side effects are irritation of the eyes such as redness, pain, increased lacrimation, itching, foreign body sensation and swelling. - Corneregel EDO eye gel should be kept out of the reach of children and not stored above 25 °C.
