It consists of a conformable, transversely elastic non-woven fabric that adheres securely even to areas of the body that move a lot, such as joints. Cutifix Stretch has a skin-friendly adhesive and minimises the risk of skin maceration. The dressing is water repellent, permeable to air and water vapour and can be cut to size. It does not interfere with radiographs and is latex-free. Cutifix Stretch is used to secure primary wound dressings such as compresses and absorbent dressings.
