Areas of application

The preparation is a herbal medicine that can be used for various complaints.It helps with gastrointestinal complaints, inflammation of the mouth and throat as well as inflammatory diseases and irritations of the upper respiratory tract.It can also be used externally for inflammatory skin changes.As an additive to moist compresses, washes or rinses, it is suitable for inflammatory skin and mucous membrane diseases, including the oral cavity and gums.For inflammation in the anal area and the genital area, it can be used as an additive to partial and sitz baths or rinses.It is also suitable for inhalation for inflammatory diseases and irritations of the respiratory tract and for ingestion for cramp-like and inflammatory diseases in the gastrointestinal area.

1 g chamomile flower extract, (1:1.8-2.1), extractant: ethanol 52% (V/V).It also contains 520 mg of ethanol as an excipient and macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate as an additional excipient.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be taken or used if you are allergic to chamomile or other daisy family or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.It should not be used as a partial or sitz bath for open wounds, large skin injuries, acute skin diseases, high fever or severe infections.

Dosage

Always take or use this medicine exactly as described or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.If you are unsure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

The recommended dose is: For inflammatory diseases and irritation of the respiratory tract, you can add 10 to 20 ml to about 1 liter of hot water and inhale this for about 5 minutes 1 to 3 times a day.If the oral mucosa and gums are inflamed, you can add 20 to 30 drops to half a glass of water (approx. 75 ml) several times a day as needed and rinse or gargle with it.For inflammation in the anal and genital area, you can add 7.5 to 15 ml to about 1 liter of water once or several times a day and use it as a sitz bath or rinse.In the case of skin inflammation, you can add 10 to 20 ml to around 1 liter of water once or several times a day as needed and use it as a compress, wash or partial bath.For cramps and inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, children from the age of 6 can take 20 drops up to 4 times a day and adults and children from the age of 12 can take 30 drops in a glass of water (approx. 150 ml) up to 4 times a day.

The duration of use depends on the type, severity and course of the disease.In principle, the preparation can be used until the symptoms subside.

In case of accidental overdose, treatment can be continued at the correct dosage if no symptoms occur.For children, the alcohol content must be taken into account.Do not take or use a double dose if you forget to take the previous dose or use.You can continue the treatment with the correct dosage.Treatment may be interrupted or ended prematurely.

Intake

When dripping, the bottle must be held vertically.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking or using the product.Chamomile preparations are not suitable for use as intestinal irrigation.The medicine is not suitable for inhalation with cold nebulizers.It should not be used in the eye area to avoid irritation.There are no sufficient studies on the use of this medicine in children. For this reason, the preparation should generally not be used in children under 6 years of age.

There is no experience with regard to impairment of the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking or using this medicine.There are no sufficient studies on the use of this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding.For this reason, the product should not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding.Use in the nipple area should be avoided during breastfeeding.
