Areas of application

The preparation is a herbal medicine for gastrointestinal complaints, inflammation of the mouth and throat, inflammatory diseases and irritations of the upper respiratory tract and for external use in inflammatory skin changes.It can be used as an additive to moist compresses, washes or rinses for inflammatory skin and mucous membrane diseases including the oral cavity and gums.It is also suitable as an addition to partial and sitz baths or rinses for inflammation in the anal area and the genital area.The preparation can also be used for inhalation for inflammatory diseases and irritations of the respiratory tract as well as for oral use for cramp-like and inflammatory diseases in the gastrointestinal area.No prescription is required for this product.

1 g chamomile flower extract, (1:1.8-2.1), extractant: ethanol 52% (V/V).It also contains 520 mg of ethanol as an excipient and macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate as an additional excipient.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be taken or used if you are allergic to chamomile or other daisy family or to any of the other ingredients of this medicine.It must also not be used as a partial or sitz bath for open wounds, large skin injuries, acute skin diseases, high fever or severe infections.

Dosage

Always take or use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.The recommended dose is:

For inflammatory diseases and irritation of the respiratory tract, you can inhale 10 - 20 ml (measuring cup) to approx. 1 l of hot water 1-3 times a day for approx. 5 minutes.For inflammation of the oral mucosa and gums, you can use 20 - 30 drops in 1/2 glass of water (approx. 75 ml) several times a day as needed.For inflammation in the anal and genital area, you can use 7.5 - 15 ml (measuring cup) in approx. 1 liter of water once or several times a day.For skin inflammation, you can use 10 - 20 ml (measuring cup) in approx. 1 liter of water once or several times a day, depending on your needs.For cramps and inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, children from the age of 6 can take 20 drops up to 4 times a day and adults and children from the age of 12 can take 30 drops in 1 glass of water (approx. 150 ml) up to 4 times a day.

The duration of use depends on the type, severity and course of the disease.In principle, the preparation can be used until the symptoms subside.In case of accidental overdose, treatment can be continued at the correct dosage if no symptoms occur.For children, the alcohol content must be taken into account.Do not take or use a double dose if you forget to take or use the previous dose.You can continue the treatment with the correct dosage.Treatment may be interrupted or ended prematurely.

When dripping, the bottle must be held vertically.

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking or using the product.Chamomile preparations are not suitable for use as intestinal irrigation.The medicine is not suitable for inhalation with cold nebulizers.It should not be used in the eye area to avoid irritation.There are no sufficient studies on the use of this medicine in children.For this reason, the preparation should generally not be used in children under 6 years of age. There is no experience with regard to impairment of the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking or using this medicine.There are no sufficient studies on the use of this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding.For this reason, the product should not be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding.Use in the nipple area should be avoided during breastfeeding.

It contains 48% alcohol by volume and macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate (Ph. Eur.).Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
