Instructions for use for Clabin N solution, 8 g
Area of application
This medicine is used for the external treatment of corns, common warts and calluses.
Active ingredients and ingredients
The solution contains 46 mg lactic acid and 140 mg salicylic acid as active ingredients.Excipients include elastic collodion, ether, native castor oil, turpentine oil, ethyl acetate and pyroxylin.
Contraindications
The preparation must not be used if you are hypersensitive to salicylic acid, lactic acid, salicylates or any of the other ingredients.It is also not suitable for infants, patients with kidney failure and breastfeeding mothers if large areas of skin need to be treated regularly.
Dosage
Always use the product exactly as directed.The usual dose is 1 to 3 times daily on the skin areas to be treated.Application over a period of 4 to 6 weeks is usually sufficient.The maximum daily adult dose of 2 g must not be used for longer than 1 week.For children, the daily dose of 0.2 g must not be exceeded.
Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure or if the effect is too strong or too weak.

Application
The preparation is intended for use on the skin.Apply it to the skin areas to be treated without getting it on the healthy skin in the area.You can protect these with a fatty cream.The treated skin areas should be allowed to dry.
Before reapplication, the existing film should be removed by peeling or rubbing.With regular use, the softened horny layer can be easily removed after a few days, if necessary after a hot soapy bath.
Patient information
Particular caution is required when the medicine is not used on the face or genital area and does not come into contact with eyes and mucous membranes.Warts are transferable, so your own towel should not be given to others to share.If you have foot warts, you should not go barefoot.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
During pregnancy, the medicine may only be used on small areas (area smaller than 5 cm²).It must not be used on the breastfeeding breast to avoid accidental ingestion by the infant.If large areas of skin are treated regularly, breastfeeding should be stopped early.

Other
