Directions for use for CitraFleet Pulv.Z.Herst.E.Lsg.Z.Einnehmen Bag: CitraFleet is a medicine used to cleanse the (large) intestine before diagnostic tests such as a colonoscopy or an X-ray. It contains sodium picosulphate, light magnesium oxide and citric acid. Before taking it, you should read the leaflet carefully and check any questions with your doctor or pharmacist. It is taken in two stages, with one sachet the evening before the examination and one sachet on the morning of the day of the examination, or one sachet in the afternoon and one sachet on the evening before the examination. It is important to follow the special fibre-free diet and drink plenty of fluids. Possible side effects include abdominal pain, bloating, feeling thirsty and nausea. If you have any questions or side effects, you should contact your doctor or pharmacist. The medicine should be stored out of reach of children and below 25 °C.
