Silvercel Non Adherent dressings are antimicrobial dressings with a unique non-adherent coating. They are particularly good at dressing changes to protect the wound bed. The dressings contain calcium alginate, carboxymethylcellulose and silver-coated fibres that provide effective treatment for infected or heavily colonised wounds. The dressings absorb and retain large amounts of exudate while allowing atraumatic and painless removal from the wound bed in one piece. Silver ions in the dressing protect the wound from bacterial contamination and control odour. The dressings are perforated and ensure unobstructed drainage of exudate into the dressing. They do not adhere to the wound bed and are easy to remove even when wet. SILVERCEL NON-ADHERENT Adheres up to 75% less than the market leading silver dressing. The dressings are suitable for the management of all moderately to heavily exuding superficial and deep wounds, including pressure ulcers, venous and diabetic ulcers, donor sites, traumatic and surgical wounds. They can also be used to control weaker bleeding in superficial wounds. SILVERCEL NON-ADHERENT minimises trauma during dressing changes.
