Centaury, medicinal tea

Centaury is a herbal gastrointestinal remedy.This medicinal tea is used for loss of appetite, digestive problems and especially for functional disorders of the biliary system.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

The medicinal tea is used internally for existing edema and those that have occurred after injuries, to flush the urinary tract and for kidney disease.Externally, it supports the treatment of poorly healing wounds.

Application and dosage

Always take centaury exactly according to the instructions in the package leaflet.Unless otherwise prescribed, drink 1 cup of the prepared tea infusion 2 to 3 times a day about ½ hour before meals to stimulate your appetite, and 1 cup of the prepared tea infusion after meals if you have digestive problems.To do this, pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over 1 teaspoon full (approx. 1.8 g) of centaury and strain it through a tea strainer after about 10 to 15 minutes.

This medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to centaury or suffer from stomach ulcers.If symptoms increase, please consult your doctor or pharmacist.Tea infusions should always be prepared with boiling water.Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines.There are no sufficient studies available for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so please ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

Side effects and storage

So far there are no known side effects.Keep the medicine out of the reach and reach of children and do not use it after the expiry date stated on the package.The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.Store the medicine in the original packaging protected from light and moisture.

100 g of medicinal tea contains the active ingredient 100 g of centaury.Other components are not included.The medicinal tea is available in a pack size of 75 g.
