Dosage instructions and method of application

Adults should drink a cup of the tea infusion about half an hour before meals 2 to 3 times a day to stimulate the appetite and after meals if there are digestive problems.To do this, pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over 1 teaspoon full (approx. 1.8 g) of centaury tea and, if necessary, strain it through a tea strainer after about 10 to 15 minutes.

Composition

The medicinally active ingredient in the tea is centaury.The plant mainly contains iridoid bitter substances such as swordiamarine, gentiopicrin and sweroside.These bitter substances stimulate the release of gastric juice, promote appetite and support digestion.
