Aspirin® caffeine tablets
Headaches can be very unpleasant and affect everyday life.No matter whether you have a lot to do or are planning a relaxing evening with friends, you want to get rid of the pain quickly.The Aspirin® Caffeine tablets help to quickly restore performance.Each tablet contains 500 mg of acetylsalicylic acid and 50 mg of caffeine.Acetylsalicylic acid has a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect, while caffeine accelerates and strengthens the pain-relieving effect by promoting the absorption of the active ingredient.This way you will quickly have a clear head again and be ready to go.

Mode of action
For more intense headaches that need quick relief, the Aspirin® Caffeine tablet is well suited.Thanks to the caffeine it contains, the active ingredient acetylsalicylic acid (ASS) can take effect quickly.Acetylsalicylic acid has pain-relieving, anti-inflammatory and antipyretic properties.The caffeine strengthens and accelerates the effects of acetylsalicylic acid.Each tablet contains 500 mg of acetylsalicylic acid and 50 mg of caffeine.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity reactions can occur to all medicines and you must stop taking the medicine immediately.If an allergy to the active ingredient or one of the other ingredients of the medicine is already known, it must not be used.Aspirin® Caffeine must also not be taken in the case of acute stomach and intestinal ulcers, increased bleeding tendency, liver and kidney failure, severe, untreated heart muscle weakness and by children under 12 years of age.
You should only take this medicine with caution and under medical supervision if you have allergies, asthma, hay fever, swollen nasal mucous membranes, chronic respiratory diseases, simultaneous use of anticoagulant medicines, stomach or intestinal ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding, impaired liver and kidney function and before operations.
The use of Aspirin® caffeine tablets is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Dosage
Unless otherwise prescribed, please take Aspirin® Caffeine as follows:
Adults take 1 tablet approximately 6 hours apart (maximum 3 tablets per day).The tablet should be taken with plenty of liquid.
Intake
The tablets are dissolved in water, if possible after a meal.It is recommended to drink plenty of water (1/2 to 1 glass).You should not take the tablets on an empty stomach.
Patient information
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine if you are hypersensitive to other painkillers, anti-inflammatories or certain medicines for rheumatism, if you have allergies, asthma, hay fever, swollen nasal mucous membranes or chronic respiratory diseases, if you are being treated at the same time with anticoagulant medicines, if you have a history of stomach or intestinal ulcers or gastrointestinal bleeding, if you have impaired liver function, impaired kidney function or reduced heart and heart diseaseVascular blood flow, before operations, in patients with severe glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency, hyperthyroidism, cardiac arrhythmias and anxiety disorders.
If you take painkillers long-term, headaches can occur, which can lead to repeated use and thus cause the headache to continue.Habitual use of painkillers can lead to permanent kidney damage with the risk of kidney failure.This risk is particularly high if you take several different painkillers in combination.In low doses, acetylsalicylic acid reduces uric acid excretion.In patients who already tend to excrete less uric acid, this can potentially trigger a gout attack.
The preparation is intended for use in adults. In general, acetylsalicylic acid should only be used in children and adolescents with febrile illnesses on medical instructions and only if other measures do not work.If these illnesses cause prolonged vomiting, it may be a sign of Reye's syndrome, a very rare but life-threatening disease that requires immediate medical attention.
No special precautions are required.
Pregnancy
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
You should not take the medicine in the first and second trimesters of pregnancy.It is therefore essential that you consult your doctor before taking the product.In the last three months of pregnancy, you should not take acetylsalicylic acid before and during birth due to an increased risk of complications for the mother and child.
The active ingredients and their breakdown products pass into breast milk in small quantities.Since adverse consequences for the infant have not yet been reported, interruption of breastfeeding is not necessary if the recommended dose is used occasionally.However, if you use it for a long time or take high doses, you should stop breastfeeding.The infant's well-being and behavior can be affected by caffeine ingested through breast milk.
This medication belongs to a group of medicines that may affect fertility in women.This effect is reversible after stopping the medication.
Notes
Children aged 12 and over and teenagers should only use Aspirin® Caffeine under medical supervision.If you experience prolonged vomiting during treatment, it may be a sign of Reye's syndrome, a rare but life-threatening condition.Reye's syndrome requires immediate medical treatment.
If you have pain or fever, do not use it for longer than stated in the package leaflet without medical advice!
Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
