Gentian root tea

Gentian root is an herbal remedy used to support gastrointestinal health.This medicinal tea is used for loss of appetite and digestive problems such as flatulence and a feeling of fullness.No prescription is required for this product.

Ingredients

The active ingredient in this medicinal tea is gentian root.100 grams of the tea contains 100 grams of gentian root.Other components are not included.

Application

The usual dosage is a cup of tea 2 to 4 times a day.The tea is drunk about half an hour before meals to stimulate the appetite, and after meals if there are digestive problems.To prepare it, about half a teaspoon of gentian root (approx. 1 gram) is poured over with boiling water (approx. 150 ml) and, after about 10 to 15 minutes, strained through a tea strainer.

There are no sufficient studies on the use of gentian root in children and adolescents under the age of 18.Therefore, you should consult your doctor before using this tea in children and adolescents.
