Blueberry medicinal tea

Blueberry medicinal tea is a herbal remedy that is used for non-specific, acute diarrheal diseases as well as for mild inflammation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat.The tea can be taken or used for rinsing or gargling.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredient

The active ingredient in this medicinal tea is dried blueberries.100 g of the medicinal tea contains 100 g of dried blueberries.No other components are included.

Application

To make the tea infusion, pour 1 tablespoon full (approx. 10 g) of crushed blueberries with approx. 250 ml of water shortly before use and heat to boiling for approx. 10 to 15 minutes.The infusion is then poured through a tea strainer while still hot.If you have diarrhea, it is recommended to drink a cup of the tea infusion 2 to 6 times a day.For rinsing and gargling, an infusion is made in the specified amount or the required multiple: 10 g of blueberries are poured over with 100 ml of water, heated to boiling for around 10 to 15 minutes and then passed through a tea strainer while still hot.

Instructions for use

This medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to blueberries.In cases of diarrhea, replacement of fluids and salts (electrolytes) is the most important therapeutic measure.The use of preparations made from blueberries is not recommended for children under 12 years, pregnant women and breastfeeding women, as there are no sufficient studies.

If diarrhea lasts longer than 2 days or is accompanied by blood or an increase in temperature, a doctor should be consulted.Diarrhea in infants and small children generally requires consultation with a doctor.If the symptoms of mild inflammation of the mucous membranes in the mouth and throat last longer than 1 week, recur or if unclear symptoms occur, you should consult a doctor.

Storage

Keep medicines out of the reach of children.The medicine must not be used after the expiry date stated on the outer carton.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.The medicinal tea should be stored in the original packaging and protected from light and moisture.
