Imupret N Coated Tablets are a traditional herbal medicine for use at the first signs of and during a cold, such as a scratchy throat, sore throat, difficulty swallowing or an irritated cough. The medicine contains seven native medicinal plants, including chamomile, marshmallow, horsetail, dandelion, walnut, yarrow and oak. It supports the body's defence against cold pathogens and softens the course of the cold. The recommended dosage for adolescents from 12 years and adults is 2 coated tablets 5-6 times a day, regardless of meals. Children aged 6-11 years should take 1-2 coated tablets 5-6 times a day. The duration of use should not exceed 2 weeks. Imupret N coated tablets should be taken unchewed with some liquid. There are some contraindications, such as hypersensitivity to the ingredients or in children under 6 years of age. Use is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Side effects such as gastrointestinal disorders and skin rash may occur, but are rare. Imupret N Coated Tablets should be stored at room temperature (not above 25°C) and protected from moisture. The medicinal product contains glucose, lactose and sucrose, so people with an intolerance to these substances should take the sugar content into account.
