Gastricholan-L is an oral liquid used to treat dyspeptic symptoms such as indigestion, flatulence and bloating. It contains a mixture of peppermint leaves, bitter fennel and chamomile flowers as the active ingredient. Adolescents from 12 years and adults take 35 drops (1.7 ml) 5 times a day before meals. If necessary, the dose can be increased to 70 drops (3.4 ml) up to 4 times a day. The medicine should not be used for long periods of time and children under 12 years of age should not take it. It contains 32% alcohol by volume. Side effects rarely occur. In case of allergic reactions, the medicine must not be taken again. Gastricholan-L must not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
