Panthenol nose cream JENAPHARM®

Panthenol nose cream JENAPHARM® contains the active ingredient dexpanthenol, which is converted in our body to pantothenic acid, also known as vitamin B5.Vitamin B5 plays an important role in skin metabolism.It promotes moisture and elasticity of the skin, supports wound healing and relieves itching and inflammation.

This product is an agent to support wound healing and is used to treat superficial, minor mucous membrane damage to the nose.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

Panthenol Nasal Cream JENAPHARM® is used to support healing of superficial, minor mucous membrane damage to the nose.If you do not feel better or even feel worse after 7 days, you should consult a doctor.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in Panthenol nose cream JENAPHARM® is dexpanthenol.Each gram of the ointment contains 50 mg of dexpanthenol.The other ingredients include wool wax, white petroleum jelly, thick paraffin, bronopol, purified water and butylated hydroxytoluene.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be used if you are allergic to dexpanthenol or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

Dosage and application

Always use this medicine exactly as described or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.The recommended dose is one to several times daily.Apply the nose cream thinly to the affected area of the nose and massage it in lightly by pressing the wings of your nose.

The duration of treatment depends on the type and course of the disease.Do not use the nose cream for longer than 7 days without medical advice.

If you have used more than you should, you can continue treatment at the indicated dosage.No adverse effects are to be expected in the event of a short-term overdose.

If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose.

The nose cream is applied nasally.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before using the nose cream.Contact with eyes should be avoided.

So far there is no evidence that the nose cream impairs the ability to actively participate in traffic or operate machines.The same applies to work without a secure hold.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There are no restrictions on the use of the nose cream during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Data on fertility (fertility) are not available.

Notes

Bronopol and wool wax can cause localized skin irritation.Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
