Nasenduo nasal spray from ratiopharm is an effective remedy for relieving rhinitis and nasal congestion. It contains the active ingredients xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexpanthenol. Xylometazoline hydrochloride constricts the blood vessels and thus reduces the swelling of the nasal mucosa, while dexpanthenol soothes the irritated mucosa and supports healing. The nasal spray can be used in adults and children from 6 years of age. It helps to decongest the nasal mucosa, make it easier to breathe through and care for the mucous membranes. Nasenduo nasal spray is particularly effective for rhinitis, runny nose and nasal breathing obstruction after surgical procedures on the nose. It is easy to use: one spray of the nasal spray is given into each nostril up to three times a day. It is recommended to use the nasal spray before going to bed. The medicine should not be used for longer than seven days, as prolonged use can lead to chronic nasal congestion and atrophy of the nasal mucosa. Nasenduo nasal spray is well tolerated, but may occasionally cause undesirable side effects such as headache, dryness of the mucous membranes and irritation. People who are sensitive to any of the ingredients or who suffer from chronically dry or inflamed mucous membranes should not use the nasal spray.
