Instructions for use of the article Otobar replacement balloon strong: The Otobar replacement balloon strong is an aid for the treatment of ventilation disorders in the middle ear. By equalising the pressure, discomfort can be easily alleviated. For use, the balloon is inflated by pressing the rim into the notch of the adapter with the index finger and inserting the remaining rim without folds. The balloon is then inflated by inserting the nosepiece into the nostril and inflating the balloon with the nose. The desired effect is achieved by a pop or squeeze in the ears. The balloon should be inflated several times a day. One application consists of three inflations, which should be about the size of an orange. After about 20 applications, the balloons should be replaced. Important notes: The balloons are made of thin material and must therefore be handled with care. They should not be placed in direct sunlight, as UV-light makes the material brittle. Storage at temperatures above 25 degrees Celsius or cold is also not recommended. When inflating, the rim should be stretched as little as possible to prevent cracking or bursting of the balloon. If necessary, the adapter can be made slippery.
