IbuDex 400 mg film-coated tablets are an anti-inflammatory and painkilling medicine containing the active substance ibuprofen. They are used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe pain such as headache, toothache, period pain and fever. The recommended dosage for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over is 1 film-coated tablet every 6 hours, up to a maximum of 3 film-coated tablets per day. The tablets should be taken with plenty of liquid during or after a meal. For prolonged use, consult a doctor and follow the package leaflet. IbuDex 400 mg should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or other components of the medicinal product, gastrointestinal disorders, inflammatory bowel diseases, blood clotting disorders, high blood pressure, cardiac insufficiency, liver or kidney dysfunction, elderly patients aged 65 years and over, and during pregnancy and breast-feeding. Possible side effects include gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dizziness, fatigue and skin reactions. If side effects occur, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
