IbuDex 400 mg film-coated tablets are an anti-inflammatory and painkilling medicine containing the active substance ibuprofen. It is used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe pain such as headache, toothache and period pain, as well as fever. The recommended dosage for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is one tablet every 6 hours, up to a maximum of 3 tablets per day. The medicine should be taken during or after a meal with plenty of liquid. It should not be used for more than 3 days for fever or 4 days for pain unless recommended by a doctor. A doctor or pharmacist should be consulted if there are side effects or questions about dosage. Pregnant or breastfeeding women, children under 12 years of age and elderly patients over 65 years of age should only use the medicine after consulting a doctor or pharmacist. Persons with certain medical conditions or allergies should not use the medicinal product without first consulting their doctor. Storage should be at room temperature below 25 °C.
