Directions for use of Moviprep Powder for oral solution: Moviprep is a medicine used to cleanse the bowel before clinical procedures in adults to prepare the bowel for examinations such as endoscopy or X-ray. It contains macrogol 3350, sodium sulphate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, ascorbic acid and sodium ascorbate. Moviprep works by emptying the bowel and causing watery diarrhoea. It must not be taken if allergies to the active ingredients or other ingredients are present, or if certain conditions such as intestinal blockage or digestive tract hernia are present. Warnings and precautions, taking with other medicines and during pregnancy or breastfeeding are recommended. Moviprep should be taken as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Side effects such as abdominal pain, flatulence and nausea are possible. Moviprep should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date.
