Information for use of the article Cloderm Anti-Dandruff Shampoo: Product properties: - Cloderm Anti-Dandruff Shampoo with 1% clotrimazole cleanses hair and scalp particularly gently. - The active ingredient clotrimazole specifically combats the cause of excessive dandruff and prevents further dandruff. - Frees the hair from annoying dandruff and restores the natural balance of the scalp. - Relieves itching and makes the hair easy to style, supple and well-groomed. - Protects against dandruff in the long term. Application: - Massage Cloderm Anti-Dandruff Shampoo briefly into damp hair and leave on the scalp for approx. 5 minutes. - Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. - Recommended use is 2-3 times per week for the first 3-4 weeks, thereafter 1 application per week is sufficient. Instructions for use: - Avoid eye contact and rinse thoroughly with warm water. - If there are signs of intolerance, discontinue use and seek medical advice. - If there is no improvement after 4 weeks of regular use, consult a doctor. - Dandruff can also be an accompanying symptom of a skin disease. Causes of dandruff: - Natural process of skin regeneration in which dead skin cells are shed. - Excessive dandruff occurs when many horny cells form, stick together and form visible dandruff. - The yeast fungus Pityrosporum ovale can promote dandruff. - Other factors such as hot blow-drying, dry heating air and irritating hair care products can increase dandruff. Advice: - Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. - Do not use during pregnancy. - Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to clotrimazole. - Discontinue use if skin reddens or burns and seek medical advice if necessary. - The product should not be used continuously for more than 4 weeks.
