Instructions for use for Acne Fugue Oxide Mild 5% (25 g)
Description
This medicine is an exfoliating and antibacterial gel intended for use on the skin.It is used for all forms of endogenous acne caused by the hormonal changes during puberty.No prescription is required for this product.
Active ingredients and ingredients
The gel contains 66.7 mg of benzoyl peroxide, containing water, and 50 mg of benzoyl peroxide as active ingredients.The following excipients are also included: carmellose, sodium salt, microcrystalline cellulose, ethanol 96% (V/V), Laureth-4, macrogol 400, octadecan-1-ol, polyethylene glycol (7) stearyl ether, concentrated hydrochloric acid and purified water.
Contraindications
The medicine must not be used if you are allergic to benzoyl peroxide or any of the other ingredients.Avoid use on mucous membranes, in the mouth, nose and eyes area and on skin abrasions.
Dosage and application
Always use the medicine exactly as described or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.Apply the gel thinly to the affected skin once or twice a day.The same dosage recommendations apply to children and adolescents as to adults.
Use should be continued until the inflammatory skin symptoms have subsided, which usually takes about 4 weeks.
If you use more than intended, skin irritation may increase.In this case, reduce the frequency or amount of application or wash off the excess.If accidentally swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
If you forget to use it, do not use a double dose, but continue treatment with the usual amount.Do not stop using it without consulting your doctor or pharmacist, as this could jeopardize the success of the treatment.

The medicine is a gel for use on the skin.Apply it thinly to the affected skin once or twice a day.
Patient information
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before use.Avoid getting the gel in your eyes as this may cause redness and burning.Rinse eyes thoroughly with water if this happens.
The medicine may increase sensitivity to UV-light, which may lead to an increased risk of sunburn.Therefore, avoid intensive sun or solarium exposure of the treated areas of the body.
Be careful not to get the gel on colored textiles as it can cause bleaching.If you have dry or sebostatic skin or are prone to allergies, only use the medicine as directed by your doctor.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.The medicine should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting your doctor.It should not be used in the last month of pregnancy.
Notes
The medicine is particularly suitable for use on the facial area and on sensitive skin.During use, avoid intense UV-exposure such as sunbathing or solariums.If the skin becomes red, itchy, tight, burning or dry, stop using it or reduce the amount.
