Application and effect

Canifug Cremolum 200 is an antifungal medication in the form of vaginal suppositories used to treat vaginal infections caused by yeast fungi, mainly Candida albicans.The active ingredient clotrimazole effectively fights the fungal infection.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each vaginal suppository contains 200 mg clotrimazole as the active ingredient.The preparation also contains the following excipients: cetostearyl alcohol, hard fat, PEG-20 glyceryl stearate and polyacrylic acid sodium salt.These components support the effect and use of the drug.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients.Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure whether you can use the product.

Dosage and application

The usual dosage is one vaginal suppository (200 mg clotrimazole) daily in the evening for three consecutive days.The suppository is inserted as deeply as possible into the vagina with a cleaned finger, preferably lying on your back with your legs slightly drawn up.A panty liner should be worn during use to avoid greasy stains.

Treatment should not be carried out during menstruation unless there is severe discomfort.If a fungal infection occurs in the last 4-6 weeks of pregnancy, care should be taken to ensure that the birth tract is free of fungus.If your partner is infected at the same time, they should also be treated.

Special Notes

Particular caution is required when using during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Please consult your doctor before using the medicine.If deodorants or intimate hygiene products are used at the same time, you should consult your doctor, as these can impair the effectiveness of the drug.

If latex products such as condoms or diaphragms are used at the same time, the functionality of these products may be reduced.Children should only use the medicine after consulting their doctor.

Side effects

Storage
