Instructions for use of the article Cutimed Hydrogel Amorph: Cutimed Gel with sterile applicator is a transparent, amorphous hydrogel used for the treatment of necrotic and fibrinous coatings of chronic wounds. It enables effective and tissue-preserving wound cleansing through continuous moisture release. The gel consists of carbomer 940, purified water, glycerine, sodium hydroxide and EDTA sodium. Cutimed Gel can be used on a variety of wounds, including pressure ulcers, leg ulcers and diabetic foot syndrome. It can be applied with the applicator provided, a spatula or directly from the tube. Cutimed Gel is latex- and preservative-free to minimise allergic reactions. It can be rinsed from the wound bed with physiological saline or Ringer's solution.
