Pantoprazole - 1 A Pharma 20 mg for heartburn is a medicine used for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms such as heartburn and acid regurgitation in adults. It contains the active ingredient pantoprazole, which blocks the production of stomach acid. The daily recommended dose is 1 tablet before a meal. After one day of treatment, symptoms of reflux and heartburn may be relieved, but immediate relief is not guaranteed. If symptoms persist after 2 weeks, a doctor should be consulted. Side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, fatigue and skin reactions. The medicine should not be taken for more than 4 weeks without medical supervision. It should be used with caution in children, adolescents under 18 years of age and adults 55 years of age and older. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
