McMed eye drops single-dose pipettes contain sodium hyaluronate (0.15%), sodium chloride, sodium monohydrogen phosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate and purified water.

Contraindications

Dosage

Recommended use of McMed eye drops single-dose pipettes: Separate a single-dose container.Make sure each one-dose container is undamaged.To open, twist off (do not pull) the flat end of the one-dose container.Place one or two drops in each eye or on the inside of the contact lens.If you have persistent problems, please contact an ophthalmologist.

Notes

Do not use if the one-dose container is damaged.Do not touch the eye with the single-dose container.Avoid contact with the opening of the single-dose container due to the risk of contamination.Intended for single use only.

10 Tips to avoid dry eyes

1. Fresh air is good for your eyes, dry air can cause irritation.Therefore, avoid too much dry heating air and ventilate regularly - ideally open the windows wide several times a day.Basically, it is advisable to spend a lot of time outside in the fresh air.

2. Avoid sitting in drafts - caused, for example, by an open window or the heating fan when driving.And even though air conditioning is ubiquitous on planes, trains and in many offices, at least make sure not to sit in the draft of air conditioning.

3. Ensure there is enough humidity in your rooms - 45 to 60 percent is ideal.Plants are also good for the indoor climate.

4. Drink enough - at least 1.5 liters per day;2 liters per day is ideal.

5. Protect your eyes from UV-radiation and wear sunglasses with UV-protection in summer or in bright sunlight.

6. Change them often - if you wear contact lenses, don't wear them all the time, but take the glasses again every now and then.

7. Use make-up products such as mascara or eyeliner pencils sparingly: Make sure that the glands on the edge of the eyelid remain free of cosmetics.If they become blocked, not enough tears can reach the surface of the eye.

8. Avoid cigarette smoke.If this is not possible, then ventilate regularly and extensively or go out into the fresh air more often.

9. Blink more often on long car journeys, while watching TV or while working on the computer!Especially during concentrated activities that offer the eye little variety, the frequency of your blinks decreases and the surface of the eye is less well moistened.If you blink regularly, the tear film is distributed better.

10. Last but not least: Use eye drops, for example from McMed, if necessary.They form a fine film on the surface of the eye and thus protect the eye from drying out.Because McMed eye drops do not contain any preservatives, they are usually better tolerated.That's why they are individually packaged.According to the opinion of ophthalmologists, tear substitutes do not cause any harm, even if used long-term.
