Askina Soft is a ready-to-use wound dressing made of skin-friendly non-woven fabric. It is used for the postoperative care of exuding wounds after accidental injuries or surgical interventions. The dressing consists of a new type of wound pad with an absorbent mesh which provides a high cushioning effect and undisturbed wound healing. The hydrophobic mesh prevents sticking to the wound. The wound dressing is elastic and breathable, which makes it particularly comfortable to wear. It is hypoallergenic and easy to mould on thanks to the soft, supple non-woven material and the rounded corners.
