The medicinal product Ginkobil ratiopharm 80 mg contains an extract of ginkgo leaves. It is used for the symptomatic treatment of brain-organic performance disorders as part of an overall therapeutic concept for memory disorders, concentration disorders, depressive mood, dizziness, ringing in the ears and headaches. The individual response to medication cannot be predicted and it should be clarified whether the symptoms are not due to a specific underlying disease. It may also be used to prolong pain-free walking distance in peripheral arterial disease and as a supportive treatment for dizziness and ringing in the ears due to circulatory disorders or age-related regression. Adolescents from 12 years and adults should take 1 tablet 2-3 times a day. The duration of treatment is at least 8 weeks. The medicine is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Before use, it should be checked whether there is any hypersensitivity to the ingredients. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use.
