Directions for use for Neuroderm Almond Oil Bath Neuroderm Almond Oil Bath is a medicinal oil bath for the supportive treatment of skin diseases with dry, itchy skin, such as neurodermatitis, psoriasis, ichthyosis, old-age skin with itching, nappy eczema and wash eczema. It contains almond oil and thin paraffin as active ingredients. Before use, you should note that Neuroderm Almond Oil Bath must not be used if you are allergic to almond oil, thin paraffin or any of the other ingredients, or if you have a fresh form of psoriasis with "pustules". When using Neuroderm Almond Oil Bath, you should take care that the oil does not get into your eyes and that there may be an increased risk of slipping in baths and showers. After bathing, you should clean the tub with undiluted household washing-up liquid and rinse with hot water. The recommended dosage is 15-30 ml for a full bath (approx. 150 l). If necessary, the amount can be increased up to 45 ml. For a partial bath and for children, the dosage should be correspondingly lower. The oil can also be applied undiluted to the moistened body. The duration of use of Neuroderm Almond Oil Bath should not exceed 4 weeks. Side effects such as allergic contact dermatitis and nettle-like skin rash with itching are possible, but not in every patient. Read the package leaflet before use and ask your doctor or pharmacist.
