Biolectra Magnesium 243 mg forte effervescent tablets with lemon flavour are used to treat proven magnesium deficiency when it is the cause of muscle activity disorders such as neuromuscular disorders and calf cramps. The effervescent tablets contain sodium, potassium and sorbitol. The recommended dosage for children 6 years and older is 1 effervescent tablet once a day and for adolescents and adults 1 effervescent tablet 1-2 times a day. The duration of treatment depends on the degree of magnesium deficiency. The effervescent tablet is dissolved in a glass of water and drunk completely. In case of overdose, no special precautions are necessary if the kidney function is intact. If the dose is forgotten, do not take a double dose. Treatment may be interrupted or terminated prematurely. Storage should be childproof and protected from moisture. One effervescent tablet contains 243 mg magnesium and other excipients such as citric acid, sodium hydrogen carbonate, potassium hydrogen carbonate and sorbitol.
