Dobendan Direkt Flurbiprofen 8.75 mg lozenges are a medicine for the short-term symptomatic treatment of painful inflammation of the mucous membrane of the throat in adults and children aged 12 and over. The lozenges contain the active ingredient flurbiprofen, which has an analgesic, anti-inflammatory and decongestant effect. They provide fast pain relief within 20 minutes and a long-lasting effect of up to four hours. The recommended use is to let one lozenge slowly melt in the mouth every 3-6 hours. The maximum daily dose is 5 lozenges. Treatment should not be continued for more than 3 days without medical advice. Dobendan Direkt lozenges have a pleasant honey-lemon taste and are also effective against severe sore throats. In addition to flurbiprofen, they contain levomenthol, sucrose, glucose and honey. Various side effects may occur, so the package leaflet should be followed. The medicine is contraindicated in cases of hypersensitivity to the ingredients, ulcers in the digestive tract, bleeding in the gastrointestinal tract, ulcerative colitis and various other diseases.
