Dosage and instructions for use

• Dosage is determined by your doctor based on the severity of your condition, your weight, your diet and the amount of fat in your stool.
• This medicine should always be taken with a meal or snack.

Contraindications

• Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients or have acute inflammation of the pancreas.
• With regard to pregnancy and breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Side effects

• So far, side effects have only been described in exceptional cases.
• If symptoms or changes occur during treatment, you should contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition

• One capsule contains 97.6 mg of porcine pancreatic powder, corresponding to 10,000 Ph.Eur. units of lipase/capsule.
• Other ingredients are crospovidone, microcrystalline cellulose, highly dispersed silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (Ph.Eur.), methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer (1:1) dispersion 30% (Ph.Eur. ), polysorbate 80, water, triethyl citrate, talc, simeticon emulsion (contains simeticon, methylcellulose, sorbic acid (Ph.Eur.) and water), montanglycol wax, gelatine, titanium dioxide (E 171), iron oxides and hydroxides (E 172), sodium dodecyl sulphate.

Important notes

• Caution in case of allergies to pork protein, citric acid or talc.

Storage

• The medicine should be stored away from heat and moisture.
• After opening, the medicinal product must not be used for more than 4 months.
