Summary: Vertigo-Vomex SR sustained-release capsules are an anti-dizziness drug and belong to the group of H1 antihistamines. They are taken for the symptomatic treatment of elderly patients with vertigo of various origins. The recommended dose for adults over 56 kg body weight is a maximum of 3 hard capsules per day. The capsules should be taken unchewed and with plenty of liquid. Vertigo-Vomex SR sustained-release capsules should only be used for a short time; if symptoms persist, a doctor should be consulted. In the event of an overdose, life-threatening symptoms may occur. The intake should not be forgotten unless it is shortly before the next dose. Vertigo-Vomex SR sustained-release capsules should not be used if you have certain pre-existing conditions, especially hypersensitivity to the ingredients, bronchial asthma, narrow-angle glaucoma and heart disease. Possible side effects include gastrointestinal discomfort, dizziness, drowsiness and headache. The medicine should be stored away from heat.
