Percoffedrinol N 50 mg tablets are an analeptic used for the short-term relief of symptoms of fatigue. The medicinal product contains the active substance caffeine. The recommended dosage is 2 to 4 tablets per day, although one tablet is often sufficient. To achieve a faster effect, the tablets should be taken on an empty stomach, crushed and with water. The effect lasts for several hours and does not interfere with night sleep. Long-term use over a longer period of time is not recommended. The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and protected from heat. Side effects may occur, such as gastrointestinal complaints, headache, insomnia, nervousness, restlessness, irritability and trembling. The medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to caffeine or any of the other ingredients, if you have cardiac arrhythmia, accelerated pulse, cirrhosis of the liver, hyperthyroidism and anxiety. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should ask their doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Interactions with other medicines are possible, so a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before using the medicine. This is a prescription medicine and must not be used after the expiry date.
