Protecor® cardiovascular tablets for functional support are a traditional herbal medicine that is used to support cardiovascular function as well as to support spa treatments and climatic stress.This product is registered solely based on long-term use.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The tablets contain a unique triple active ingredient combination of hawthorn, potassium and magnesium.Each coated tablet contains 40 mg dry extract of hawthorn leaves with flowers, 10.1 mg magnesium as magnesium bis(hydrogen-DL-aspartate) 4 H2O and 32.5 mg potassium as potassium hydrogen-DL-aspartate 0.5 H2O.Hawthorn supports the work of the heart and at the same time relieves the strain on the heart and vessels, potassium supports the heart rhythm, and magnesium supports blood vessels and heart muscles.

The other ingredients include maltodextrin, highly disperse silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone (type A), copovidone, talc, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) (vegetable), sucrose, calcium carbonate E 170, titanium dioxide E 171, iron (III) oxide E 172, hypromellose, povidone (K value25), povidone (K value 90), macrogol 35000, basic butyl methacrylate copolymer (Ph. Eur.) (Eudragit E 100), methacrylic acid-methyl methacrylate copolymer (1:1) (Ph. Eur.) (Eudragit L 12.5%), carnauba wax, bleached wax and shellac (bleached, wax-free).

Dosage

The recommended dose for adults is 1 - 2 coated tablets 3 times a day without chewing with sufficient liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).

Contraindications

Protecor® cardiovascular tablets to support function should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to individual ingredients.The medicine is not suitable for children and adolescents.

Notes

Contains sucrose.Read the package leaflet.Protecor® cardiovascular tablets to support function must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.The medicine should not be used if there are severe disorders of kidney function, increased potassium and/or magnesium blood levels (hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia) or disorders of conduction in the heart (AV block).
