Protecor® cardiovascular tablets for functional support are a traditional herbal medicine that is used to support cardiovascular function as well as to support spa treatments and climatic stress.This medicine is registered solely based on long-term use.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The tablets contain a unique triple active ingredient combination of hawthorn, potassium and magnesium.Hawthorn supports the work of the heart and at the same time relieves the strain on the heart and blood vessels.Potassium supports the heart rhythm, while magnesium supports the blood vessels and heart muscles.

Ingredients of Protecor® cardiovascular tablets to support function:

1 coated tablet contains:

40 mg dry extract from hawthorn leaves with flowers (4-7:1), extractant: methanol 70% (V/V)

10.1 mg magnesium as magnesium bis(hydrogen-DL-aspartate) 4 H2O

32.5 mg potassium as potassium hydrogen-DL-aspartate 0.5 H2O

Other ingredients: maltodextrin, highly disperse silicon dioxide, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone (type A), copovidone, talc, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) (vegetable), sucrose, calcium carbonate E 170, titanium dioxide E 171, iron (III) oxide E 172, hypromellose, povidone (K value 25),Povidone (K value 90), macrogol 35000, basic butyl methacrylate copolymer (Ph. Eur.) (Eudragit E 100), methacrylic acid-methyl methacrylate copolymer (1:1) (Ph. Eur.) (Eudragit L 12.5%), carnauba wax, bleached wax, shellac (bleached, wax-free).

Contraindications

Protecor® cardiovascular tablets to support function should not be used if there is known hypersensitivity to individual ingredients, if there are severe disorders of kidney function, if there is an increased potassium and/or magnesium blood level (hyperkalemia or hypermagnesemia) or if there are disorders of the conduction of impulses in the heart (AV block).

Dosage

Recommended use of Protecor® cardiovascular tablets to support function: Adults take 1-2 coated tablets whole 3 times a day with sufficient liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water).

Notes

Protecor® cardiovascular tablets to support function are not suitable for children and adolescents.The medicine contains sucrose.The package leaflet should be followed.
