Urea acis® 12% cream

Healthy skin forms a natural barrier against fungal infections.It has a callous layer and a protective acid mantle with a pH value of 5.5.In order to maintain this protection, appropriate care is particularly important for dry skin, neurodermatitis or aging skin.

The cream can be used all over the body.Depending on the symptoms, it is applied once or several times a day.The application is very simple.

No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The cream contains 120 mg of urea per gram. Other ingredients include:

Pentaerythritol, Octadecanol, Alkane (C12-C18) Oat Citrate, Aluminum Stearate, Butylated Hydroxyanisole, Citric Acid 1-Water, Glycerol Monooleate, Microcrystalline Hydrocarbons, Oleyl Oleate, Propylene Glycol, White Vaseline and Purified Water.

Application

The cream is applied to the affected skin areas one to several times a day.

Contraindications

The product must not be used if you are hypersensitive to urea or any of the other ingredients.The cream should also not be used if you have abraded skin or acute skin inflammation.In the event of hypersensitivity reactions, use should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Patient information

Particular caution is required if the cream comes into contact with the eyes or mucous membranes.In this case, the cream should be discarded immediately and a doctor should be consulted if necessary.

There is no reliable experience with the use of the preparation in children.Reports from the specialist literature indicate that the use of highly concentrated products containing urea in children can lead to a mostly short-term burning sensation on the skin.

There is no experience with regard to impairment of the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

There is no experience with the use of the drug during pregnancy.Even though it is unlikely that the cream will enter the bloodstream after being applied to the skin, you should only use the product during pregnancy if your doctor considers it absolutely necessary.

It is not known whether the medicine passes into breast milk.Therefore, the cream should only be used during breastfeeding if absolutely necessary.If your doctor considers application necessary, you should not rub the breast area to avoid unwanted contact with the baby's skin or oral absorption of the product by the baby.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
