Nemacynar Nestmann is a liquid herbal medicine with the active ingredient artichoke leaf thick extract.It is used for digestive disorders, especially for functional disorders of the biliary system.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

This medicine is used for digestive disorders known as dyspeptic disorders, especially those related to the biliary system.If symptoms persist or recur for more than a week, a doctor should be consulted.

Contraindications

Nemacynar must not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to artichokes, other daisy plants or any of the other ingredients of the drug or if the bile ducts are blocked.If you have gallstones, the medicine should only be used after consulting a doctor.

Precautions and warnings

Due to insufficient research, the medicine should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding.There are also no sufficient studies available for children under 12 years of age, so Nemacynar should not be used at this age.The medicine contains 29.7% alcohol by volume.

Interactions

Concomitant use of Nemacynar may reduce the effectiveness of coumarin-type anticoagulants such as phenprocoumon or warfarin.In such cases, the dosage of these medicines should be adjusted and it is advisable to consult a doctor.

Dosage instructions

Unless otherwise prescribed, adults and children over 12 years of age take 40 drops in a little liquid three times a day before meals.

Side effects

Very rarely, mild diarrhea can occur with accompanying symptoms such as abdominal cramps, upper abdominal discomfort, nausea and heartburn.Hypersensitivity reactions such as skin rashes can also occur very rarely.If such side effects occur, a doctor should be consulted.

Notes on durability

The medicine should not be stored above 25°C and has a shelf life of two months after opening the container.The preparation should no longer be used after the expiry date stated on the container and outer packaging has expired.Cloudiness or precipitation may occur but does not affect effectiveness.
