Instructions for use for DOPPELHERZ Ribwort Cough Syrup V, 150 ml

Doppelherz active ribwort cough syrup V is a herbal medicinal product for improving the symptoms of colds of the respiratory tract. The syrup is recommended for adults, adolescents and children from one year of age. The recommended dosage is 10 ml 4 times a day for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over, 10 ml 3 times a day for children aged 4-12 years and 5 ml 3 times a day for children aged 1-4 years. Excessive dosage should be avoided. In case of prolonged symptoms, shortness of breath, fever or purulent or bloody sputum, a doctor should be consulted. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not take the medicine, as no adequate studies are available. Possible side effects may include diarrhoea and allergic reactions. The medicinal product contains sucrose (sugar) and glucose and should therefore be taken with caution in patients with sugar intolerance. It must be kept away from children and at room temperature.
