Klosterfrau cough syrup contains the following ingredients: The active ingredient in 200 ml is 24 g fluid extract from ribwort plantain herb (1: 1), the extractant is ethanol 20% (m/m).The other ingredients are potassium sorbate ((E,E)-hexa-2,4-dienoic acid, potassium salt), invert sugar syrup (35 g sucrose, 35 g D-glucose, 34 g D-fructose) and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Klosterfrau cough syrup can be taken undiluted or diluted with water.The recommended dosage is: Children between 2 and 4 years take 5 ml 3 times a day.Children between 4 and 12 years old take 10 ml 3 times a day.Adolescents over 12 years and adults take 15 ml (1 measuring cup) 3 times daily.

Notes

Klosterfrau cough syrup contains 3.0% alcohol by volume and invert sugar.For diabetics, 15 ml of syrup contains 0.6 bread units.Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
