ACC Kindersaft is a cough syrup that is suitable for children from 2 years of age. The active ingredient in ACC children's juice is acetylcysteine, which is used to loosen the tough mucus in the airways and make it easier to cough up. The recommended dosage of ACC children's juice depends on the age of the child. Children aged 2-5 years should take 5 ml 2-3 times a day, which is equivalent to 200-300 mg of acetylcysteine per day. Children and adolescents aged 6-14 years should take 10 ml each 2 times a day, which is equivalent to 400 mg of acetylcysteine per day. Adolescents aged 14 and over and adults should take 10 ml each 3 times a day, which is equivalent to 600 mg of acetylcysteine per day. ACC Children's juice should be taken after meals and can be dosed either with the enclosed application syringe or the measuring cup. The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist. There are some contraindications to the use of ACC children's juice.
