Bronchicum Elixir is a herbal medicinal product for the treatment of symptoms of acute bronchitis and colds of the respiratory tract with viscous mucus. It contains thyme and primrose root fluid extracts that loosen mucus and soothe the bronchial tubes. The elixir can relieve the irritation of the cough and act against inflammation of the bronchial tubes. It is taken evenly throughout the day, with the dosage guide to help with correct dosing. Adults, adolescents and children over 5 years of age take 7.5 ml up to 4 times a day. Children under 5 years of age should take 2.5 ml up to 6 times a day. Bronchicum Elixir is also suitable for children from 6 months of age. It contains alcohol and should therefore be avoided by alcoholics. People with an intolerance to glucose, fructose or sucrose should consider the sugar content.
