Directions for use of UrgoSuperabsorber wound dressing 10 cm x 20 cm UrgoSuperabsorber is a sterile, conformable dressing for moderately to heavily exuding wounds. It absorbs and stores exudate in the dressing material, minimising the risk of maceration at the wound edges and maintaining a moist wound environment. Directions for use: - Use on moderately to heavily exuding wounds. - Can be used as a primary or secondary dressing. - Clean and dry the wound. - Select a size that covers the wound area. - Ensure direct contact with the wound bed or primary dressing. - Secure or wear under a compression bandage. - Change dressing if necessary or before it is fully saturated. - Consult a healthcare professional if the wound deteriorates. - Moisten with sterile physiological saline to facilitate dressing change. - Dispose of used dressings as medical waste. Indications: Exuding wounds such as crural ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and other wounds with moderate to heavy exudation.
