DracoFoam haft sensitiv is a sterile hydrophilic polyurethane foam wound dressing for covering acute and chronic wounds. It absorbs wound exudate and maintains a moist wound environment to support the healing process. The dressing is flexible and has a high exudate absorption capacity as well as good exudate management, which prolongs the wearing time and reduces the risk of wound maceration. Excess fluid is transported to the polyurethane membrane where it can evaporate. The polyurethane film prevents the exudate from escaping and protects against external pathogens. The sensitive silicone technology allows the dressing to be repositioned for wrinkle-free application and is gentle on the skin. Dressing changes are atraumatic and avoid pain and re-injury to the wound. DracoFoam haft sensitiv is suitable for wounds with a high exudate volume, such as superficial and deeper acute and chronic wounds, decubitus ulcers or postoperative wounds. The dressing is water-repellent, offers protection against washing, is germ-tight and breathable. DracoFoam haft sensitiv can remain on the wound for up to 7 days.
