Summary: The Soft Nasal Ointment is manufactured by Wetterau-Apotheke and is used to treat the discomfort of rhinitis and dry nasal mucous membranes. Its effect is to moisturise the nasal mucosa and reduce unpleasant symptoms such as itching and burning. The ointment contains nourishing oils such as sesame oil and lanolin. It should be applied several times a day by massaging it into each nostril. Use should be avoided if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients. The ointment was recommended to me years ago by my ENT because of my dry and often inflamed nasal mucosa and I have stuck with it because I find it soothing and trust the doctor.
