Instructions for use of the article FIWAsorb absorbent dressings VLIES non-sterile 10x20 cm: - Product characteristics: The absorbent dressings consist of two middle layers of liquid-distributing tissue fabric, a core of cellulose fluff and a soft, skin-friendly non-woven cover. The reverse side is impermeable to water with a blue polypropylene layer. - Examples of use: The dressings are used to care for highly exuding wounds in all medical settings. They are also used for padding wounds and for external application. Before contact with open wounds, the compresses must be sterilised using a validated procedure. - Normative and legal requirements: The dressings meet the requirements of Directive 93/42/EWG and are assessed according to MPG and CE-classification (Class I, Rule 4). The CE-labelling and the labelling according to DIN EN ISO 15223-1 are present on all packaging levels. The dressings do not contain any hazardous toxic substances according to REACH.
