Nenelax 1.0 laxative suppositories have been specially developed for toddlers and children to gently and effectively relieve constipation.The suppositories are soft and pliable, making insertion easier.They work exclusively in the rectum without putting any strain on the rest of the organism.

Constipation can have various causes, especially in young children, when the diet is changed from breast milk to purees or when they are ill.The suppositories contain glycerol, which retains water in the rectum and softens the stool, triggering bowel movement and the defecation reflex.The effect occurs approximately 60 minutes after application.

Active ingredients and ingredients

Each suppository contains 1.0 g glycerol as the active ingredient.The other ingredients are gelatin and purified water.

Nenelax 1.0 laxative suppositories are used for constipation and for emptying the intestines before rectal examinations or to soften the stool in the case of hemorrhoids and anal fissures.

Application and dosage

Immediately before use, moisten the suppository slightly with water and insert it, tip first, deep into the anus.Unless otherwise prescribed, the usual dose is 1 to 2 suppositories daily, corresponding to 1.0 to 2.0 g glycerol per day.

The suppositories should only be used in acute cases without consulting a doctor.If the condition does not improve or worsens after 7 days, you should contact a doctor.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used in cases of intestinal obstruction (ileus) and abdominal pain of unknown origin or in cases of known hypersensitivity to glycerol or any of the other ingredients of the preparation.
