Description

This herbal medicine is used to relieve urinary problems caused by an enlarged prostate.It is particularly suitable for problems with urination in connection with benign prostate enlargement (benign prostatic hyperplasia) in stages I to II according to Alken or II to III according to Vahlensieck.

No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The preparation contains 320 mg of saw palmetto fruit extract, which is made with 90% ethanol (V/V).The following excipients are also included: iron oxide, gelatin polysuccinate, glycerol 85% and titanium dioxide.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to saw palmetto fruits or any of the other ingredients of the product.

Dosage

Always take the medicine exactly as described or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.The recommended dose is one soft capsule once daily.

If you have taken more than you should, no immediate action is usually necessary.However, inform your doctor.

If you forget to take a dose, continue using it without changing the dose.

If you want to stop taking it, please discuss this with your doctor or pharmacist.

Intake

Take the soft capsule whole with sufficient liquid with meals.The duration of treatment is determined by the attending physician.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine, especially if you are taking other medications at the same time.

Caution is advised when taking antiandrogens (e.g. finasteride or flutamide) or therapeutic androgens at the same time as well as when taking anticoagulant drugs (e.g. ibuprofen, ASS or anticoagulants).

Caution should also be exercised if there are blood clotting disorders, before surgical or dental procedures and if blood pressure is too high.Blood pressure should be checked regularly.

As a check before and regularly during treatment, a medical examination should be carried out for the early detection of prostate cancer.

The application is not intended for children and young people under 18 years of age.

Pregnancy

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, you should only take medication after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.
