Heparin 60,000 IU Heumann Cream is a medicine that inhibits blood clotting.It is particularly suitable for the supportive treatment of acute swelling after blunt injuries with hematoma formation and superficial phlebitis.Heparin inhibits the formation of blood clots and shrinks or dissolves existing ones.No prescription is required for this product.

The cream helps bruises to subside more quickly, bruises to dissolve more easily and superficial phlebitis to heal better.It is also quickly absorbed into the skin.

Application

Heparin 60,000 IU Heumann Cream should be applied thinly and evenly to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day.The usual treatment period is around 1-2 weeks, unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor.When used as directed, there are no known symptoms of overdose.

100 g of cream contains 60,000 IU of heparin sodium, which is obtained from pig mucosa.In addition, the cream contains the following excipients: purified water, 2-propanol, decyl oleate, macrogol 400, isopropyl myristate, thick paraffin, carbomer, ammonia, sodium edetate and perfume oil.

Area of application

Contraindications

Patient information

Notes

The primary treatment for superficial phlebitis of the legs is treatment using pressure bandages.If applied to very large areas and simultaneous treatment with anticoagulants, the tendency to bleeding can be increased.After use, wash your hands thoroughly with soap.

If drugs that interfere with blood clotting are used at the same time, an increased risk of bleeding cannot be ruled out.Bruising may occur more frequently or increase in extent.During treatment with Heparin 60,000 IU Heumann Cream, injections into the muscle should be avoided due to the risk of bruising.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
